Bryant's Mission Statement
The mission of Bryant Core Knowledge Magnet is to
meet the individual instructional needs allowing students to
progress in a safe, supportive environment to achieve
success at appropriate developmental levels.
Welcome to the Bryant Core Knowledge Magnet website. Bryant is a neighborhood magnet. Our curriculum is based on USD #259 standards and the Core Knowledge Foundation developed by E. D. Hirsch, Jr.
Core Knowledge is a way of learning by building on what has already been learned. Children and adults learn only by building on what they already know. Commonly shared knowledge makes schooling more effective, more equitable and helps create cooperation and solidarity in our school. The core knowledge sequence is a grade-by-grade sequence of specific content guidelines in history, geography, mathematics, science, language arts and fine arts.
Bryant has a wonderful caring staff and great parental support.
